In effect from 23 October 2026
Pixelwright is run by its founder, in Georgia (the country), who is responsible for your data. The short version: we keep what we need to run the studio for you, we do not track you, show ads, sell data or train AI on your art. Questions and requests: support@pixelwright.app.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with GitHub. For each sign-in session we keep the IP address and browser it came from, to keep you signed in and spot misuse.
- Cloud projects: the art, palettes and settings you save to your account, and the history of changes, including which steps a connected AI made.
- Connected AIs: which AI apps you connected and when, and the access they were given, so they can work for you until you disconnect them.
- Your plan and its use: your plan and its dates, your trial, and, to apply the plan's limits, which assets you have and when each was last edited, and on the free plan how many AI sessions you used today. No meter of your AI's work is kept on paid plans.
- Exports your AI makes: the files, held for one hour behind a private link so you can download them, then deleted.
- The waitlist: your email address, when you joined, and the country our hosting network reports for the request. We use it only to email you about Pixelwright opening; every email has a link to leave.
- Payments (when paid plans open): Paddle, our reseller, takes the payment. We receive your plan, its status and the email address and country Paddle shares with us, never your card details. For Student Pro we keep the school email address you verified and when.
Projects you keep only in your browser, and your studio preferences, stay on your device and never reach us.
What we do not do
- No ads and no tracking cookies. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you or follow you to other sites.
- No selling or renting your data.
- No training AI models on your projects.
The studio uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. The site and studio use your browser's storage for your local projects and preferences.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and the studio, keeps the waitlist, and counts visits (Web Analytics).
- Railway: runs our servers and database, in the United States.
- Resend: sends sign-in links, trial reminders and waitlist emails.
- GitHub: if you choose to sign in with it.
- Paddle: takes payments and handles taxes, as the merchant of record.
When you connect an AI app, what it reads through Pixelwright (your projects and the results of its steps) goes to the company behind that app and is handled under its privacy policy.
Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on these providers' standard safeguards for those transfers.
How long we keep it
- Account and cloud projects: while you have an account.
- Waitlist: until you leave the list or ask us to remove you.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we erase your account, projects and connections within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we keep about you, and object to how we use it. Projects can be exported from the studio at any time; for everything else, email support@pixelwright.app and we answer within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, or in Georgia to the Personal Data Protection Service.
Children
Pixelwright accounts are for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top; for changes that matter, we also email account holders.
